DADD & Covid : change of plans
Last year, we organized the first Digital Architecture & Design Day conference. We enjoyed a lively conference with interesting talks and were fully committed to organize another event – in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Our call for proposals has yielded many great session proposals and we also have interesting keynotes lined up.
We’ve kept a close eye on the spread and impact of Covid-19 and the counter measures taken by the government. For a long time, we were confident that we could organize a Covid-proof event, unfortunately that has changed. With new measures that were announced recently it is clear the DADD event cannot not happen as scheduled. As much as we regret it, this is not the time for a physical event.
There is also good news to report, though! We are currently working on the DADD virtual mini conference in the afternoon of November 5th, the original day of the conference (short, because we feel that a full day of online sessions is not the best idea in the world). Because we have the mission to spread knowledge, the conference is free to join for all.
Check the detail on the programme in our meetup group of the Digital Architecture Community with a great keynote from Amazon and after that an interview with a mystery guest.
We will start at 16.30 CET and end around 18.30.
Please register as a member of the meetup group to RSVP for the conference. We hope to see you there!
We are also working on plans for 2021, so stay tuned for more information!
